External Genital

External genitalia, including the hill pubis, labia majora, labia minora, Bartholin glands, and clitoris. Region containing these tools are called the vulva. External genitalia has 3 main functions:Allow sperm to enter the body.Protect the genitals from infection in the organism.Provide sexual pleasure.
Pubis is a mound of rounded hill on the fatty tissue that covers the pubic bone. During puberty, the hills become covered by pubic hair. Pubic hill contains oil-secreting glands (sebaceous glands) that secrete substances that are associated with sexual attraction (pheromones). The labia majora (literally, large lips) are relatively large, folds of flesh on the network to include and protect the other external genital organs. They can be compared to the scrotum in men. The labia majora are mengadung sweat and sebaceous glands, which produce a lubricant expenses. After puberty, the hair appears on the labia majora.
Labia minora (literally, small lips) can be very small or up to 2 inches wide. The labia minora are located just inside the labia majora and surround the opening to the vagina and urethra. The amount of supply of blood vessels gives the labia minora a pink color. During sexual stimulation, these blood vessels become filled with blood, causing the labia minora to swell and become more sensitive to stimulation.
The area between the vaginal opening and anus, under the labia majora, called the perineum. It varies in length from about 1 to more than 2 inches (2 to 5 cm).
The labia majora and perineum is protected by the skin similar to the skin of the body. The skin is thick, dry, and sometimes scaly.Conversely, the labia minora is coated with a mucous membrane, the surface remains moist by fluid, secreted by specialized cells.
The opening of the vagina called the introitus. The opening of the vagina is the entrance to the penis during sexual intercourse and an outlet for menstrual blood and childbirth. When stimulated, Bartholin gland (located beside the vaginal opening) issued a thick fluid that supplies lubrication for intercourse. The opening to the urethra, which carries urine from the bladder to the outside, located above and in front of the opening of the vagina.
The clitoris, located between the labia minora at their upper ends, are small protrusions that correspond to the penis in men. The clitoris, like the penis, is very sensitive to sexual stimulation and can erect. Clitoral stimulation can produce an orgasm.
