TOOTHACHE

Definitio
Most toothaches from cavities (caused by tooth decay). Sometoothaches are caused by a tooth abscess or inflammation of the gums around crown tooth (pericoronitis). Rather rare, toothacheresulting from nasal sinuses (sinusitis).

If several teeth hurt when someone chew or bend (eg, to tieshoelaces), cause the possibility of sinusitis, particularly if the toothache occurs when a person has or recently had the flu.Additional symptoms are suspected sinusitis are headache andtenderness and swelling of the skin over the affected sinus.
